Peter Cotterell has been part of the Fantech family for 25 years, applying his knowledge and leadership across multiple areas including major projects, product management and business development.

Today, Peter leads the Fantech Services business as National Sales & Business Development Manager where he works with customers on the refurbishment and retrofit of fans and associated products in existing buildings. Peter is also responsible for the sales and marketing activities within the South Pacific Region where he has built strong customer relationships over many years.

Over the last 25 years, Peter has played a key role in developing and delivering innovative ventilation systems, including the integration of controls with EC motor technology. Peter also played a pivotal role with the introduction and adoption of Vacon variable speed drives. This partnership was further developed during the transition to Danfoss drives which continues to deliver successful results for the business and provide efficiency benefits for customers.

His involvement in landmark projects, particularly within the health sector, has helped to deliver systems that provide better air quality and comfort in critical environments. Motivated by collaboration, innovation and customer success, Peter continues to look ahead, seeking new opportunities to help clients achieve their goals.

Peter's involvement over many years with CIBSE ANZ has been a proud achievement of his. Peter initially joined the Victorian Committee with encouragement and support from the Late Jack Pirie, and later held the positions of Victorian Chapter Chair and Chapter Treasurer.

Peter considers himself extremely fortunate to be part of Fantech Group which fosters a strong team culture and an innovative approach to the products and services it offers. Peter says, “Each day is different, presenting me with unique opportunities and challenges that help me grow personally while driving positive outcomes for the business. I am passionate about the Fantech organisation and also the customers whom I support and interact with every day”.

Outside work, Peter enjoys overseas travel, 4x4 adventures, camping, motor sports and spending time with family and friends.
