The FA Series of belt-driven centrifugal roof units are suitable for a wide range of applications.

Construction
The cowls are of fibreglass and designed for vertical discharge. Steel components have a corrosion-resistant finish. Bird mesh guards are fitted as standard.
Backward-inclined centrifugal impellers.

Motors
Type - squirrel cage induction motor.
Electrical supply - three-phase to suit a wide range of voltages and frequencies.
Bearings - sealed-for-life, ball.
Speed - controllable using frequency inverters.
Motors are selected to suit the application and can be provided with 2-speed windings. In addition, motors to meet Ex d, Ex e, Ex n and DIP standards can be fitted.
These fans are not suitable for smoke-spill applications.

Internal Thermal Protection
Thermistors can be provided on motors, except where regulations specifically exclude their use.

Testing
Air flow tests based on BS848, 1963 tests.
Noise tests based on BS848, 1966 tests.

Special Features
These units are belt-driven thereby providing a wide range of selections from each unit.
Can be mounted on sloping roofs.
These fans can also be provided with a dual motor arrangement to permit 100% standby. This feature does not affect the dimensions of the units.

The FA Series of belt-driven centrifugal roof ventilators shall be as designed and manufactured by Fantech Pty. Ltd.

Impellers shall be constructed from aluminium, shall be of a backward-inclined centrifugal design and driven by conventional motors.

The cowl shall be fibreglass.

All data shall be based on fully tested products.
