The Heritage Series of roof units has been designed to permit easy access for cleaning. They can handle clean air, grease laden air or toxic gases.
Features
Construction
Galvanised sheet steel housing, with spun aluminium inlet cone, modern flanged connections and backward-curved centrifugal impellers. Motors complying with Ex'd', or Ex'e', Ex'n' or DIP S tandards can be fitted. Suitable for three-phase supply.
Motor
Type - standard squirrel cage motors
Electricity supply - single or three-phase to suit a wide range of voltages and frequencies.
Bearings - sealed-for-life, ball.
Speed-controllable using inverters.
Explosion-proof motors for three-phase supply can be fitted to all selections.
Internal Protection
Thermistors can be supplied on request.
Testing
Air flow data based on tests to BS848:Part 1, 1980.
Noise data based on tests to BS848:Part 2, 1985.
Special Note
The motor is mounted out of the airstream.
This design is suitable for a wide range of applications, extending from the handling of toxic or explosive gases to elevated temperature applications. Appropriate motors are fitted for each application.
The windband is held in place with toggle clamps to permit easy access for cleaning and maintenance.
Can be mounted at angles up to 15°.
