Eco-Speed fans lead the green way
THE

That is why Fantech has developed Eco-Speed Fans, incorporating integrated
variable speed control.
The Eco-Speed design ensures the fan speed can be adjusted to meet the demands of the system without the expense of a separate variable speed drive. Simply, they only use the power required to do the job. This minimizes their draw on the power grid and impact on the environment.
Speed control is a potent energy saver, underlined by the Power Law where power used varies as the speed cubed. For example: At 80% speed, the power required is only 51% of full speed. At 90% speed, the power required is only 73% of full speed.
Eco-Speed is an economic, quality solution that offers a choice of manual speed control or auto-control via remote condition sensors. Life cycle energy saving is achieved by tuning the fan for the duty required. It also means:
Installation of a separate VSD unit is not required. No expensive shielded cable is needed between VSD and fan. Integrated electrical protection means no expensive contactors are required. Eco-Speed fans are ideal for applications ranging from pressurisation and switch rooms to small car parks and kitchen exhausts, and feature easy-to-use programming for the auto control unit and 3-phase motor efficiency with 240V power supply.
